Today (September 3) marks the school opening day for primary and secondary schools in Kunming, Yunnan Province.

At the century-old Wucheng Primary School, new students joined a traditional teacher-acknowledging ceremony, with the carnation flower in their hands.

A high-tech show featuring intelligent robots, little rockets and model aircrafts, was held for the high graders in the school.
