Equestrians of the Diqing delegation have won five of the seven golden awards set for the equestrian events, which were staged on the first two days at the on-going 11th Yunnan ethnic games.

The 11th Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of Yunnan Province opened in southwest Yunnan’s Lincang City on December 4. A total of 1,899 athletes participate in 131 events across 14 sports.

The 18 delegations taking part in the games represent all of Yunnan’s 16 prefectures and cities, as well as two universities.
