The equestrian Larong Dilie from northwest Yunnan's Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture won the first gold medal in the 1000-meter race for the Yunnan team July 14 at the 11th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the People’s Republic of China.  

This year’s 3,000-meter and the 1000 meter horseback races of the national ethnic games were concluded on the same in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
