Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in northwest Yunnan has established 29 supervisory offices in towns and townships, with all civil servants across the prefecture to be monitored.
The unveiled offices mark a new step for Diqing Prefecture to reform its supervisory system at the grass-root level. In the days to come, counties in Diqing will assign officers to the 29 offices, with working mechanisms to be further formulated. The offices will be functioning in the areas of local supervision and disciplinary inspection.
