Recent online pictures show the beautiful moon and night view in Kunming, Yunnan province on September 13, the Mid-Autumn Festival. 

The Mid-Autumn Festival is typically marked by family reunions, enjoying sights of the full moon and eating moon cakes, among other traditions.

Actually, the moon festival is not particular to China, and it is also celebrated in the neighboring countries of Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
