Tibetan cultural event win international awards

The Stevie Awards, known as the “American Business World’s highest honor”, was held in Vienna, Austria on October 20. The “Discover the Himalayas”, a Tibetan contemporary art exhibition, won bronze prize in the “2019 International Business Awards Annual Marketing Campaign”.


A total of 4,000 entries from 74 countries were submitted for selection. The “Discover the Himalayas” Tibetan contemporary art exhibition innovatively presented a multi-cultural, multi-artistic landscape with an international perspective, and it was unanimously recognized by the judges.




The event is jointly organized by the Tibet Cultural Industry Experimentation Base: the Tibet Mingshi Culture Communication Co., Ltd. (the “Tihu” brand) and the Chengdu International Finance Squares (Chengdu IFS). It exhibited intangible cultural heritage art like thangka, music, painting, and others. The event has received more than 200,000 people in 17 days, and it showed the development of Tibetan cultural industries to international audiences.
