With workers busy with slopes and fences, cleaning roads, and transporting sphalt with vehicles, the Yison-Xiaozhongdian section of the Shangli-La-Lijiang free way is expected to open to traffic by the end of December.

To finish the works on time and put the section into service by the year end, the constructing company has mobilized its most workers and resources, while asking folks in surrounding areas to help transport materials.

In the past days, five stations worked concurrently to have the road surface covered by asphalt. In the event of everything going well, a maximum of 1.5 kilometers is paved daily. As of now, around 10 kilometers have been finished.
