Warm-hearted folks in northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture have raised more than 1,160,000 one million yuan in the past few days to help the on-going battle against COVID-19 nationwide.   

Of the raised funds, 900,065 yuan was donated by local entrepreneurs, monks and villagers, mostly in Shangri-La City.   

The Heping village in Xiaozhongdian Town donated more than 180,000 yuan, while veterans contributed another 81,878 yuan to those in the epidemic-hit areas.
