Revenue of Kunming pilot FTZ area exceeds 200 billion yuan

Revenue of the Kunming area of the Yunnan pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) reached 206.8 billion yuan in 2019, representing an increase of 12.7% year on year.


Since its inception in August 2019, the Kunming pilot FTZ area has carried out 76 the 202 promoting measures issued by the State Council, with 25 cases of innovative practices handed in. 


 


Construction of the cross-border e-commerce platforms speeded up, and a tax-bonding trading center was put into service. A total of 4,343 companies signed up with the Kunming area, 18 of them being foreign-funded enterprises. The registered capital added up to 26.8 billion yuan.
 
Traditional industries have been restructured with AI. Unified Food and Xuelan Milk in the Kunming area were awarded the title of Top 10 green-food brand in Yunnan, while the Qingyuxiang was listed as a top 20 tea brand in the province.
