A total of 19,716 impoverished folks who were re-settled under local poverty- alleviation projects have got employed in northeast Yunnan’s Huize county, with their household income increased effectively.
On the basis of their performances during the job-training sessions, the re-settlers were assigned to jobs at industrial parks and plantations near their new homes, and they also formed cooperatives to help each other.
In the county’s Yize village, the poverty-alleviation projects helped over 1,000 in hunting a new job, with annual income of 14,000 yuan for each person.
