Aerial photos taken on July 28 by a Xinhua reporter show the Tengchong-Longchuan expressway in the west of Yunnan province. 

Connecting the Tengchong and Longchuan counties that border Myanmar, the expressway opened to traffic on August 15. And the new infrastructure is expected to boost local socio-economic development.
