In ten years,housing construction of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture improved steadily,inputs in housing was increased that the housing conditions transform the old and dilapidated houses into safety concrete houses.

The goal that  make sure people have living house has basically achieved in recent years.

"After rural renovation of dilapidated house policy started,the government rebuilt my house for free,we will never worried about the rainy day,"said Huang fenghua,a villager from Weideng Township in Weixi County.According to the government data,renovations on 94 old residential communities had finished ,benefiting close to 15466 households.

“we lived at rural area in Weixi's Zhonglu town with unconvinient transportation and unsafety house ,our living standard has improved after living in the Lanyong resettlement site at new city of Weixi county, "said Zhu huangrong ,resident from Lanyong resettlement site .Lanyong resettlement site is one of the 8 rural resettlement  sites in Weixi county and finished 143 household resettlement.

In the recent years,Diqing has promoted the housing construction on public rental houses for 12816 to content requirment  of  low-income group.

Living in the public rental house at Kangzhu apartment in Shangri-la City, Helichun said,"to buy a house in city is very difficultly to my family,but i can rent affordable and comfortable house here and easy to find a part time job to support my children to finish their school ".
