Picture posted on xgll.com.cn recently shows the water-level has risen as impoundment at the Wulonglong Hydropower project began following complete resettlement of the residents in the basin area.

The residents were re-settled at the Cizhong village, a relatively flat area equipped with sound living facilities. The hydropower project lies on a Lancang river section in Deqin County of northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
