Pictures taken on September 7 show the ecological beauty of the Erhai Lake in west Yunnan’s Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. 

Thanks to local effort in recent years, the Erhai Lake has seen progress in ecology and environment for living. The lake’s water quality is improving constantly.

Among other things, construction of the 129km Erhai eco-corridor will be completed this year, which is expected to enhance the lake’s ecosystem, biodiversity and local sustainable development.
