Images taken on August 16 morning show four tourists from Washington D.C. of the United States pose for a group photo with the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery of Shangri-La as a background.

The four just visited the temple and toured around other scenic areas in NW Yunnan's Diqing Prefecture.

The temple is situated 5 kilometres from the city of Shangri-La at elevation 3,380 metres.

Built in 1679, the temple is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan Province.
