Located in the Shixiang village of Jinjiang Town, Shangri-La City, the Yao’s Garden has brought in an increasing number of tourists, along with effective local efforts in developing rural ecotourism in recent years.

During the Spring Festival of 2019, tourists from Ningxia, Chongqing, Dali and other places came to the Yao’s Garden for vacation.

So far, tourists from nearly 20 countries and regions have visited the Yao’s Garden, including those from the USA, New Zealand and the first-tier Chinese cities. The oldest tourist is an 84-year-old man from New Zealand.

Here, international tourists enjoyed a pastoral life in the Jinsha river-side village by trying the traditional farming, tasting local dishes and getting to know musical instruments and performing arts.
